Nicole Tellier, DVM

Chief of Staff

Dr. Nicole Tellier, our Chief of Staff, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls in 2007 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She first started her career practicing at Northern Lakes Veterinary Hospital, a two-clinic, four-doctor, mixed-animal practice in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

Following this position, she then worked near the coast at our sister practice, Health and Wellness Animal Hospital, a three doctor, integrated Western/Chinese medicine practice solely devoted to dogs and cats. Dr. Tellier now brings the valuable experience she has acquired to Fisherville Animal Hospital, so that we may provide you and your pet with the care they need and deserve.

Dr. Tellier was raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin and also spent time working with veterinarians on dairy farms in New Zealand. Her experience varies from dairy cattle/production animals to companion animal medicine. The question most ask is how did she end up from Wisconsin to New Hampshire? The answer is her fellow classmate from vet school, who was from the area, proposed a job opening where she was working and she jumped at the opportunity for something new.

When not at work, Dr. Tellier enjoys attending concerts, fairs and festivals, taking road trips on the Harley with her significant other, as well as traveling all over the world. She has a bit of a funny farm to take care of when she is home though with two Labradors (Charlie, and Colt), a cat (Lagertha), a horse (Fancy), four cows (Belle aka Cheese, Dora, Ethel, and Edith), 6 steers, 2 ducks, her flock of chickens, a hedgehog (Huckleberry), and still growing!
